Pakistan lost to Ireland
Ireland needed 19 runs from the last two overs. At the crease were opener Andrew Balbarney and all-rounder Gareth Delaney. Shaheen Shah Afridi sent back Balburnie who scored 77 runs in the 19th over, giving only 8 runs.But even then, Curtis Kampfer gave Ireland a great victory by matching 11 runs in the last over by Abbas Afridi. In the 20th over, Campher hit the boundary on the first ball and ball number four. With this win, Ireland took a 1-0 lead in the series.
After losing the toss and batting Babar Azam's fifty, Pakistan scored 182 runs for 6 wickets. In response, Balbarney's 77 and everyone else's short innings, the Irish reached the port of victory with 5 wickets in hand.
Despite losing the match, Babar has created a new feat. By playing an innings of 57 runs, Babar jointly owned the highest 38 fifty in T20 cricket. Kohli has 38 fifties equal to him. However, Kohli (109) played one more innings than Babar (108). Saim Ayyub also got a run in the opening today. Sime played an innings of 45 runs off 29 balls. In the end, Iftikhar Ahmed was unbeaten on 37 off 15 balls.
Balbarney basically single-handedly pulled the match for the Irish. Paul Stirling's team chased 182 runs in small pairs with Tector and Dockrails. Tector scored 36 off 24 balls, Dockrell scored 24 off 12 balls.
